This utility was written for the Digital HiNote VP.

The utility allows real-mode network drivers to be
able to get an IRQ when loading. Some network drivers,
when trying to load under DOS, erroneously report that
the requested IRQ is not available.

After this utility is run, a PCMCIA network card
is allowed to load at either IRQ 10 or 11. We also
recommend you run your network card at I/O 340.

This utility can be run at a command prompt or in the
autoexec.bat. It is most important to run it
each time before you attempt to load your network drivers.

Note: There is NO confirmation message when the
utility is run to indicate that IRQ's have been
released succesfully.
